"501 Places is a travel site owned and managed by Andy Jarosz. In between travelling I have been an optometrist, a company director and a consultant, but have never lost that passion to explore new places and to tell stories about the adventures that result from those journeys.

501 Places was created as a travel blog with two simple aims: to share the many years of experiences that I have enjoyed while travelling to over 70 countries, and to inspire others who reach this site to explore the world around them."
